Yi Tonghua's Fairytale-Inspired Sales Center

Award-Winning Design Merges Childhood Innocence with Sophisticated Aesthetics

The Tong Yueli project stands out for its unique approach to design, where the space is introduced in a fairytale setting, allowing visitors to explore a beautiful world from the perspective of children. The designer, Yi Tonghua, has skillfully incorporated elements of fairy tales, presenting the image of the little prince to interpret the innocence and romance at the heart of the design.

The project, completed in September 2019, spans an area of 308 square meters. The lobby offers a strong visual impact with its bright colors and paper sculpture background wall, depicting luxuriant trees, blooming flowers, and adorable deer. Hidden light strips shed warm yellow light, outlining a romantic image together with colorful balls overhead, creating an atmosphere akin to an enchanted forest.

Yi Tonghua's design integrates the imagination of children with the experiences of adults, forming a unique style. The art and aesthetic atmosphere of the sales center encourages visitors to explore the inner mind of children and to contemplate the meaning of growing up. This approach aligns with the developer's idea of an intelligence community, where children grow up within the community, adding an educational function to the community construction.

Despite the challenges of designing and decorating the sales center from a fairytale perspective, the project successfully provides an interesting experience for both children and adults. The fairytale elements add bright colors to daily life, enrich people’s experiences, and enable people to enjoy every happy moment. Painting skills are employed to tell stories, describe images, and create different space experiences.
